VAC HAS PROGRAM ESTABLISHED TO ACCEPT MEMORIAL GIFTS

Did you know that the Village Art Club accepts memorial contributions?  A person can give a memorial contribution and designate where the contribution should go, such as scholarships, gallery, art library or eve a special designation of choice.  The giver does not have to be a VAC member; it can be anyone.

The program was set up several years ago so that there would be a way to recognize the giver and the person being remembered.  When memorial gifts are received by the VAC, a card is sent to the family of the person being remembered, and another sent to the person giving the gift.

There is also a program to accept donations through wills and trusts dedicated to the Village Art Club.  This makes it convenient for the living to be sure their gifts go where they designate when they have passed away.  These funds can be set up at any time with an attorney.

Gifts also do not have to be memorials.  They can also be given as an honorarium, to recognize a person who has done something special or who means something special for the giver.

If you want to recognize someone, remember the VAC.
